How long has everyone been editing for??

I once followed a filmmaking workshop back in 2005 but never really did something with editing until 2007.

That was a different time lol
We used iMovie HD during that workshop
From 2007 to 2010 I worked with Windows Movie Maker (Windows XP version)
And from 2010 to 2014 I used Sony Vegas.

And since 2014 I have been working with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects and those programs are really great, especially since you can combine them.

I first started YouTube in around mid 2009, it was back when I was a huge fan of Shane Dawson, RWJ and the like, basically old school YouTube. I made vlogs for that account and even did a 67 subscriber celebration video, because I had no idea how to measure what was good, my god that channel was awful.

I've been editing many things since then, for other channels, for my own purposes, and now, I edit TCRF, so, all in all, about 6-ish years.

I've been editing for about 3 years. I use Final Cut Pro. I started filming and editing when I needed to make a highlight film for my daughter who was looking to play college soccer. I bought Motion 5 about a year ago and I dabble in that when FCP doesn't have what I need.

My channel hasn't been going long enough to see it yet, but I have been editing videos since I was in 2nd grade back on Windows Movie Maker. I now use Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 and I have progressed a lot. Pretty soon I will be doing a lot more editing in my videos and the years of editing will most likely show. :D

I've been editing for 6 months now. Taught myself Premiere Pro because I wanted to edit a vacation video. I've got the basics (kinda) covered now I think :)

Couple of years. I sorta fell into it because the guy who used to edit the videos for my site couldn't dedicate the time to it any longer, so I stepped up and started to get to grips with Premiere Pro. Really enjoy it, and I can use what I've learned to do my own holiday videos too. :)

I initially started off with unedited uploads.

Over time, I realized how important it was to attract viewers so I used Windows Movie Maker.

After a while, WMM became too "basic" so I moved over to AVS Video Editor. It had some problems at times so I uninstalled it after a few months of usage.

And finally, I'm now using Corel VideoStudio along with After Effects for enhancement.

Total of nearly 5 years of editing videos :)

I've been editing videos for about 3 years now for YouTube, and maybe a year or so before that, but not seriously. I now edit with Adobe Premiere Pro.
