How long does it take you to put a video together ?

Well for me composing/learning songs can take up days so that's the hardest part, in my latest video I started to pay more attention to different camera angles so recording was like 1 and a half hour, editing takes about 2 hours if I have multiple clips like this. :) But it's totally worth it. :D

Nice, do you use like separate audio and video capture equipment or is your audio linked with your camera ? Because one of the biggest things I edit is syncing up audio from a separate device and when you have a lot of clips like your saying it can take a while
 
Mine is 10-20 mins to record, 5 mins to edit :p (I do mainly live commentary, so its chopping ends off and adding intro) 10-15 to render and blooming ages to upload (ie 2hrs for a 10 min video)

How big are your video files when uploading then ???

Mine will take about 10 mins to upload but around 20 minutes to render

Yep, I record audio and video seperately. When editing first I import the audio, then all of the clips to different tracks, make them synced and then I go through and cut down different parts of each clips. I think it's the fastest way but still it can take a couple of hours to make. :) If you have any better methods please share. :D

Nah I'm afraid I don't have a better way haha it's the same way I do it, I am looking at a wire to straight connect my h4n recorder to my camera but that only helps me in some cases, I need to film from distance sometimes and then other times I need t mic up close because of loud areas. Guess it's just gonna take time haha oh well
 
I guess it depends on what type of videos you make. I think skits and certain styles of vlogs take longer.
I take anywhere from 1-3 hours for me. That incldues editing, commentating, and everything.

Thanks man ! I watched some of your vids yesterday but I don't have an iPhone or really use apple products :(

And I don't wanna change my content I'm just looking at other options if I get into the situation where I really don't have the time to go out and film all day then spend 6 hours editing it all haha

But don't worry there's still a lot of stuff I wanna get done, I'm just warming up
