How long does it take you to put a video together ?

A few hours to record, several hours to edit! :D It's not a short process, and my videos are only generally about 2 minutes long! Before starting YT I really never appreciated what YouTubers meant when they said how long it takes them to make and upload videos- now I understand haha :)

I am in the same boat as you, it can take me 5+ hours to edit but my videos are way less complicated. A lot of it depends on how well my computer is working that day and how easily distracted I am. You have good content though, I think it is pretty unique, i wouldn't go changing it.

Depends what Im reviewing.
Some can take a few hours to get my raw footage together. Some reviews can take a week. Depends on the item and the amount of testing, along with the type of raw footage required - indoor, outdoors, certain situations etc.

Editing then takes a few hours or so.

Depends on how 'on task' I am that day. The procrastination in strong in this one. But usually 20-40 minutes filming, then to edit maybe two hours? I usually spread out the editing over a couple of sessions though, so I don't do it all in one hit.

Recording is the easiest part then I edit or trim what I have accordingly. Then I usually work on my written description/guide to go with it. I am thinking of using editing software to put my words onto the video since annotations seem to get ignored alot.
