How long does it take you to make a video?

Just want to see how long people have to put into a video. For my channel since it requires travel and can only be done during daytime, not to mention in good weather as well, I only have time to make a new vid about twice or three times a month. Wish I could record at night when I have more spare time.

ALL TOGETHER non stop work i'd say about three days.

a lot of that is due to the editing on a crappy computer.

I think now thanks to my new one it should shave off some time lol

I can totally sympathize with having a crappy computer, usually takes 2 days of part time work to finish editing. I have no training in video editing or graphics so Im doing real basic stuff but I have a dinky little laptop thats basically an internet machine by now. I think its a miracle I can do anything at all haha.

Same here, recording footage is the easy part for making travel videos. The hard part is watching and choosing the best clips to put into a montage which could take hours alone! After I record my footage, on average it takes around 2 hours from start to finish. Finding the right music, matching cuts to the rhythm, finding the right pacing, and playing back the video over and over again to make sure you didn't miss anything can definitely consume a lot of time.

I totally know what you mean. Ive watched hours and hours of road footage that I just drove through hours earlier. I havent used background music yet but Im going to start and thats only going to be more work. Good thing I enjoy it.

Depends on what kind of video i make, if it´s a travel video, it could be from a day to a week, depending on how long i´m in that city, and if it´s a vlog,it takes half an hour!
