It takes me about an hour to edit 20 minutes of footage. That's without any skits or elaborate things. I use a really crappy editing program so it may differ depending on what you use.
For a straight, basic vlog, it usually takes about two hours. However, my first blog probably took about four hours as the background music had to be chosen, I had to make the titles from scratch and the way I delivered the vlog (filmed it several times after one another), proved really time consuming to edit. Now though, I have learnt to simply deliver the performance once as it is much simpler to edit (there is no picking and choosing, just cutting out the unnecessary points) and you can just copy over the titles and music from an older one
yeah depending on what you're using/doing it can take a short time, or 75 years (joking) I found once I got into the grove of things I can get a vid out in an hour (minus render and upload time)
Obviously depends on how long the video is but I also take into consideration rendering and uploading times, luckily I upgraded my internet about a year ago and now have a much better upload speed so that's shaved time off. Usually it takes me about 30 minutes or more.
For a 5 minute video it can take up to 5 hours. It really depends on your editing style and how much effort you want to put in. (The more effort you put in to making your video, the better the results)
My videos take about an hour to edit, but also take several hours of preparation and planning beforehand. Sometimes editing takes more time depending on the length of the actual video, since my videos sometimes tend to be quite long.
