How long do you plan on doing YouTube?

I honestly don't know i upload whenever i feel like it since i don't have the motivation most of the time lol so i guess for now it would be if youtube stopped existing
 
FOREVER! I may change channels quite a few times (I recently switched to a new channel) but I will do it until I find what I absolutely love and then I'll stick with that!

I'll do it as long as I have time for it. I think once I get kids I might not have the time anymore so I guess I'll do it for another 5 years. Hope I'm at 100k subs till then.
 
As long as I walk around with a camera, have an idea and enjoy editing videos I'm going to keep my youtube channel and upload my videos. Even if only a very small audience enjoys it and I only get a very few views.
 
A while? As long as I want to? Until I don't? I'm not really sure...it's not a career path for me, so it's just a fun thing to do that keeps me creatively engaged, so I guess as long as it does that, I'll keep at it.

Yea i dont understand why so many people have trouble admitting that they do youtube, or want to do youtube for money. Everyone says money shouldn't be your primary motivation...

Why not?

You just have to set realistic expectations of what you plan to be earning by what time frame. Thinking you are going to be a millionaire is for the most part, unrealistic, but if your expectations aren't through the roof, you can earn some solid income/side income from youtube after you've been doing it for a few years...
