How long did it take your channel to really kick off

Been doing my channel for little over 3 months already . I have just over 1000 subs and not a bad view count i suppose if i think about it. I get perhaps 20 subs a day better on weekends . But still a small channel which is growing well month on month. Would like it to continue
 
I don't think it has yet. Maybe this year will be the year. ~400K views and ~350 subs per month isn't good enough to me.
 
I dunno, were on 68 subscribers after 2 months and it's not gone anywhere as yet but we are having lots of fun making videos and that's all that counts.

No glitch, they changed things a while ago. You only get the notification now if you also signed up using the alarm bell. If you haven't you only get some infrequent updates.
The focus for recommended videos on the home screen has shifted from channels you're subscribed to, to a model that is tailored to deliver you videos that they believe will make you watch more videos on youtube. Sure, if you visit a particular channel regularly that you're subscribed it will promote that on your home screen and also on your suggested slots as they know that you will watch those.

I'm not getting notified to the people I'm subscribed to and I have the bell on, sometimes it will notify me a day or too late
 
Wayyyyy too long. Been at it for almost 2 years but still only at 457 subs...granted I did take a few months off a few times...when I was super consistent tho, my channel actually grew quite fast haha, so hopefully I can get more consistent with it now :P
 
I have put on 30 more viewers in the last month, at 53 right now. Have been seeing steady growth to the point where if I look at my channel in the morn and don't have at least one more sub it is disappointing
