How long did it take you to get your first Subscriber?

Had a few friends help me out and I had about 5 subs by the end of the day. Good thing too because they are active on their YT accounts.
 
Within the same day? I was lucky enough to put up a relatively popular video on the day I started that channel.
 
Two friends of mine subbed to my channel before I even started uploading videos lol, other than that it took me almost a month to get a real "natural" subscriber haha
 
Considering I started back in Spring 2008, my guess is that my first subscriber came about a few days after my 1st video was uploaded. This (of course) is back in the days where YouTube isn't as big as they are nowadays and it was easier to be "heard". I cannot say the same for nowadays as getting views is about as hard as trying to gain ground in the YouTube realm..
 
I got one about week after I started, but they kept pestering me to subscribe and like their videos. My first real one was about 2 months after I started.
