How long did it take for your channel to get subs?

Just a curiosity of mine. How long did it take for your channel to really take off? Or hasn't yours yet?

I always try and ask bigger youtubers this but their replies are vivid. From what I noticed it seems to just be chance. I like hearing peoples stories though!
I probably had 5 subs for about a few months before i started doing the sub4sub deal. However, i was very focused on who i subbed with. I made sure to sub with people who i knew would have a chance to see my videos, and also who's videos i'd see as well, that way at least i can get entertained out of the deal. As of now i have about 50 subbers, and my video views average about that much, so i think i'm pretty content.

I have around 5 subscribers (I don't like checking it too often), I upload my first video one month ago today, so happy 1st month anniversary to me I guess.

its about nightcore music-not a fary famous kind of music so..

It can`t be better! The less something is currently known or famous the bigger your change are that your channel will get viral when it will become it.

Focus on your Content, try to create a Weekly Show where you talk about new Artists in that Genre and where you present of them a one minute Demo and talk about what`s is good/bad about his/her newest Track and what happen in the Scene.

Haven't had luck with that yet, but I can understand it's probably because I have very few videos up at the moment and I haven't really figured out what I want to do exactly, so I jump around here and there. I have 7 subs right now and only like 3 people are total strangers that I don't talk to in real or on the internet, the rest are friends and family.
Views matter to me a bit more at the moment, because of that challenge I take part in, every view matters.

More then ever before Content is the Key. With an constant stream of Content you won`t gather at first many Views but will definitely win in the longer run.
