yupp haha don't get me wrong, i like a lot of the channels here. some of the best vloggers i've seen are from YT Talkha thats true! but you just have to find the good ones...
yeah you're right. when i look at some of the smaller channels i've discovered on YT Talk and compare them to some vloggers who have like +500k subscribers it doesn't make sense to me. a lot of people on here are much more entertaining/talented than some of the bigger guys out there and i'm sure a lot of them have big futures on youtube.

i think it's because when you have a wider audience (smosh, pewdiepie, rwj) you tend to water down your content to the lowest common denominator. because they have a lot of subscribers they also have to think about the 10 year olds that watch their videos, so it comes off as "bland" or "safe". since a lot of the YouTubers here are underground they have more freedom to express their creativity.. i guess? who am i to say right haha xD
