Hey YTTalkers,
How is your CPM or RPM (cost per thousand of total impressions - monetised and unmonetised) the recent months of this year? Going up or down comparing to same months of previous year?

Mine went a little bit down comparing to previous year.

Is there an easy way to compare years like that? I'd like to see my own :)

Not sure of the very easy way of calculation :) but assuming there is no need to do it every day so its not a big deal.

A sample of calculation that i use (maybe there are easier way but i find that way not hard too):
Lets say you made last month 100$ from 50.000 of total impressions your channel received
Take that amount of earnings and divide them:
100$ divide by 50 = 2$ rpm (2$ from thousand of total impressions)

Do those calculations each month and save those numbers on a word or excel or notepad and save for later reference and comparison.

dude your not even close to it ... 2 days ago my CPM was 1.80$ and now it is 3.25$.

I got a total of 238K views and it gives me 141$ USD.

There is so much things that influence your gains.

How do you know im close or not? :) i havent shared my numbers :) i just mentioned that same months of this year to me gives a bit lower rpm than at same months of previous year (2013) but i havent shared the numbers and was wondering which year is/was better by monthly rpm - this year or previous year.

Seems OK to me.

My earnings are increasing every month.
@Xynudu, thanks for your answer, but its not about total earnings, its about monthly rpm (earnings per thousand of total impressions) comparison previous year vis this year :)

For example october 2013 rpm vs october 2014 rpm comparison (not total earnings but rpm), is it higher rpm this year or lower?[DOUBLEPOST=1416685515,1416685109][/DOUBLEPOST]
It is way worse for me, the amount of monetised views is too damn low...
Thanks for the answer @nxinyourface, i noticed decrease in monetized views too this year, but not that much, decrease by 10% or so..., but monthly rpm decreased roughly by 25% for me so seems something else affecting this in my case, not only monetized views count.
