How is posting a video automatically "promoting" yourself?

I think you're allowed to put your stuff on but it depends. The Vlogging subreddit is small and people seem to post their stuff there all the time.
 
Yeah I have done and learned that I can add more subreddits like gaming and videos and youtube and such. Thanks guys.
 
Posting your videos anywhere or talking about your videos/channel is technically promoting yourself... you're trying to get your name and videos out there... that's like the definition of promoting yourself :")
