How important is sticking to upload schedules?

I also agree with most people in this thread. Schedules are important, stick to them if you have them. The same reasons really your audience will know when to expect a video. If you have a load of videos then great! that's you sorted for a few weeks. If you have scheduled uploads enabled upload them all now and have them to roll out in line with your schedule. Then you can concentrate on your next video, you actual have a great gem on your hands.
 
I uploaded a video per week for a year.
In summer months I have other stuff to do so my uploads are random (last upload was 10th august).
There is no drop off in subs/views. Channel is still growing at a similar pace than before.

Seems that the schedules are not as important as they seem.
But...it may depend on the content.
