How Important is Social Blade?

I've Got It
So, just checked out Socialblade and looked up my Youtube channels. Surprisingly they have everything about my Youtube Channel period, down to how much I *Apparently* make. (Shudders.)

Little disappointed that I'm only a "C" grade channel. Is that bad? I've seen other channels in my network as "C" grade and even much bigger channels in our category that are upper C Class lower B Class and I feel like the difference is night and day. Does anyone know how it works or what i do to fix that? Thanks in advance guys!

It's related to the number of views and subs per day that a channel gets. Their website has a FAQ but honestly why spend time trying to please the algorithm of a 3rd party website that has zero effect on your channel? :)

Feeling better already Crown. Much obliged buddy.

With my old channel I use to check social blade daily and track everything about how I was going. And to be honest it didn't really mean anything aha.

As long as you think you are putting in the work and feel as though your channel is getting what it potentially deserves then I would be happy with that then stats and a random letter attached to your name through numbers.

Cheers to that too. Guess I better get to my SEO.

Socialblade just tracks the public info on Youtube, but it does make mistakes sometimes.

Really use social blade sparingly. You will enjoy your content creation if you don't think about if you got enough views or not or enough daily subs etc. Socialblade is a useful tool but like any tool overuse makes it useless.

I've started using Social Blade about 2 weeks ago. Now I find myself pretty much 'blading everyone in this community. :D

Yeah, this is where it's most useful - It's a quick way to check out the competition's stats in terms of daily views, popular videos, engagement etc.

Socialblade has some trending projections and channels comparison features that can be pretty useful to compare. But It just uses YouTube API, so all the data is already available to anyone. What they did is write some tools to aggregate the data and present it in easy to view form. Additionally they have the top lists, which is very useful for example if someone is not sure what is hot on YouTube.
