Intro can enchant or distory ur channel , when people first watch ur video , they will see the intro first , and they will see you are a decent youtuber or you are just starting out . A 5-8 Second intro is good enough
We open with a random, funny clip. Then cue intro graphic, around 15s of funny, high energy clips from the episode, cue graphic again, then start the "on today's episode, we're going to try and make..."
Extremely important; connects your viewers, constantly exposes them to your brand and style, and gives them something to recognize when watching your videos.
I have just created and used a really simple intro. It is very short and shows my name I personally like it. However, some intros are too long and really annoy me
Most of the time, I just get right into the presentation. But I do occasionally give a teaser intro, splash to a 4-5 second logo screen w/music, then get to the video.
In my opinion, doing intros longer than 5 seconds is wasting your regular-subscriber's time. Get on with it, would you! LOL!
