How I use Keywords on YT

Loving YTtalk
First off, I have had my channel for only 2 months. I don't have 50k views or anything, but that part takes time. What I do now will hopefully set me up for the future. This is what I do every time I post a new video. This helps rank you on the recommended videos, the list of videos to watch next and suggested videos. If your lucky you might be able to get more views.

1. Find a video in the same niche. If it's gaming, find a similar video about the same game, same type of funny moment etc... This video should have between 10k-50k views. Any more that that and they are generally getting views from their status of "celeb" or payin for views.

2. Once you find this video. Use Ctrl + U. This opens the source window.

3. Scroll down the page of code until you see a column of keywords that person is using in their video.

4. Incorporate the same key words as them as long as it is still relevant to your video. Add your channel name as well.

Hey, that is a pretty solid strategy man. Thanks.

Also I've heard if you have an Adwords account (different to the Adsense account your YouTube is linked to) they have a tool to advise you on best tags to use for your topic based on YouTube searches.

I don't have it but am thinking of signing up for the tool
