How has YouTube changed you?

It makes me happy, either by entertaining me when I'm bored, or finding that I can get some pocket change for doing something I love.
It has also given me confidence (like every one else it seems like) that my stuff might be worth viewing, as the comments have encouraged me that people want to see more, and they share my sense of humour

It gives me something to look forward to when I am dealing with BS. Very important for this socially anxious introvert: it has created opportunities for me to make friends.

Youtube changed me alot ... i've gained 100kg , my girlfriend let me go , my friends disappear too HAHA Joke , really youtube made a change on me , making me more competitive to offer to the public the best i can do , also i can see how i improvement since i did start editing videos in the past and look that now im better, that's motivate me alot jeje good luck and have a nice days guys

Not sure if this has been asked before, but if not, answer away!

At the start of my channel, it made me going to sleep with a smile every night, because I have no clue why people are watching my videos.
Now I'm used to it, and it made me like a bit creative. Looking for ways to gain more viewers with little time...

I used to undervalue youtube until I became an internet reviewer, now I wake up everyday to seeing strangers asking my opinions on various movies or shows. It's incredibly flattering and a huge jump from my more quiet creative lifestyle I had years before.

It's definitely allowed me to feel more confident and better able to present myself in public, and its interesting the reactions of people when I tell them I'm a Youtuber! It's also spurred my creativity, to the point where almost daily im getting new video ideas!

It has helped me to become way more confident. I started off being unable to post the first video I ever made because I was so self-critical, and now I'm able to just put them up without worrying at all!
Of course, I'm not saying that Youtube was the single thing that helped my self esteem issues, counselling has helped massively as well.
