Loving YTtalk
I have only really just started with my current channel. I have quite a few friends who do YouTube as well. Not all of them upload regular, or doing gaming videos, but they have found it quite hard to grow. I think if you can grasp the basics of quality, you will set yourself up well.
After that, when people start to see your personality shine through, which is hopefully entertaining, you should start to slowly pull in the audience.
The hardest thing about YouTube is getting that initial audience and build a steady flow of views and subscribers on a daily basis. I believe I heard that once you have over 100 subscribers, you normally start to get a steady growth, but that may have changed since there is so many more YouTubers since I heard that piece of information.
