How Graphic Design can help your channel grow!

So I've been designing for over 2 years now and I haven't really used my 'graphics skills' for anything helpful apart from a few logos for some small businesses which earned me a bit of cash.

Anyway, I recently sent a few messages to some 'bigger' YouTubers offering them my services (a free banner). I have had 3 reply's, one from 'WhiteMoose' ( A Battlefield player ) who has over 12k subs. I created a banner for him today and he featured me on his channel in return which is how graphics can help your channel grow! Another channel ( I don't mean to brag) called 'ThePrimeCronus' who has almost 100k subscribers, wants me to create a banner for him although he hasn't got back to me yet. There's another but I feel like I'm bragging a bit so I'll stop! :3

But what I'm saying is this is a really good way of getting promotion/subscribers! You obviously need to create quality designs but if you put your mind to it you can easily whack up a stunning banner!

Anyway, thanks for reading! I hope this helped some of you! :p

Below is the banner I made for 'WhiteMoose' the second one is the one that I thought looked the best but he didn't like the 'subscribe' text so I removed it...:D

I made my banner at
and stonewalls banner at
But I can't confirm whether or not they increase growth, because were both pretty big already.
I guess it comes down to how well they promote you in return, considering you have a large channel it wont really make much of a difference as if you have a small channel like mine, it does :) ( that's if they promote you well enough)

When made to a professional standard, I believe they'd play a hand in growth. It would be like you looking for a car, one performs well but look eh, the other looks good and performs well. You're going to chose the second one. Youtube has a lot about presentation as well as content quality

You sure he didn't like the second one because of the subscribe text? Or maybe because you spelled his name wrong lol ;)

Other than that, they do really look professional. Of course, this technique would only be beneficial if you create the banner for a channel in the same niche as you.

Woo hoo! That's awesome :) I'm on my phone so I can't see the banner fully...but looks pretty freaking nice from what I can tell.

I just made this for my Playlist on YouTube reviews? (I only started designing like this 3 days ago)
