I hid a particularly nasty user who was cross posting some pretty nasty stuff on multiple videos by going to the comment and hitting "hide user", and the entire comment thread disappeared from the channel.
I used another computer to go to the video the make sure the comments were not visible, and I couldn't find them (about 200+ comments in total and this thread was only 1 so I might have missed it). But when this person replied I got a notification in my youtube dashboard.
So is it visible on the video? Or just to me?
EDIT: Is there a way to delete hidden comments?
