I'd like to think I have a pretty successful channel going. I get up to 1,500 views per video, and no i dont pay for views. My videos get likes but sill I only have 2 subs. How? I have had channels in the past that MAYBE get 150 views per video, but I still had 10-15 subs. Plz help.
Not every kind of content is something people feel like subscribing to - maybe you are one of these kinds For example, people are more inclined to search for movie trailers, rather than subscribing to whoever upload them
If your content is so that it's great to just watch one video and be satisfied people won't feel the need to subscribe for future content. But if you are vlogger or do something else they just have to have more of. They will subscribe and keep coming back. Bear in mind though not all subscribers are active ones. I get ~120 views per video and have ~370 subscribers. That should tell you something. Subscribers < Views. And you got me solidly beat on the view department! Way to go!
Yea everyone's pretty much nailed it. Your channel is kind of like.... news or something of that nature, if I find some funny weird vlogger who makes great sketches I'll sub for more. If I'm trying to find some clip off TV I'm just gonna find it and move on.
