How does CPM work?

So it says "Effective cost per mille, or the estimated average gross revenue per thousand served ad impressions."
but i have around 24,800 views on my ytb channel. does that mean when i get 25,000 views i will get those CPM money? or is it the ESTIMATED MONETIZED PLAYBACKS? because i have 228 ESTIMATED MONETIZED PLAYBACKS.

I cant thank you anough that you replied!!! but yeh i saw that alot its just theres a part i dont understand. Does it mean when i get 25,000 views total (its like 100 views away from now atm) i get the 7.77 dollars? bec u get the CPM each thousend views right.
