How do you record?

I RECORD WITH A PC :D:D:D XD Laaaawl xD Anyways i try to record as much as i can :D Since im in my pre exam year i barely have time so i record 3 - 4 videos :D Or even moar but thats just for redoing the recording xD I redo till its perfect ;) Then when i have freetime i go editing, rendering n uploading ;) YEY!!
 
I try to record as much as possibly usually 2 to 3 hours worth of footage and then I slowly render them out while other people use my computer. that`s the beauty of having to share your personal desktop with everyone in the house =.= lol
 
I try to do one video per day, upload it as I sleep and continue it :3.

Rendering takes 10-20 minutes with this awesome beast PC at 720p (I make videos that are 5-15 minutes long).

Uploading depends on the file size, most of the time I get 2 GB while rendering in MP4 and below 1 GB while rendering in AVI. If I'm rushing to upload content, I upload in AVI as the quality does not affect it much in my opinion, they're still in pretty good quality and I don't see much difference.

Advertising takes a few days to spread among several sites and forums!
 
i usually record when im going somewhere that might have something interesting to do i.e mall with friends

20 minutes is a long time for a 15 minute video. I render 10 minutes of 1080p in 5 and a half minutes (second generation i5, agility 3 solid state HDD, 8gig ram and an AMD 6870). What settings are you using?

Might be because our video contents are different! :p

I render several videos at once which results in the 10-20 minutes. AMD FX 8320 - EVGA GTD 660 Ti - WD 1 TB HDD - no SSD.
 
I try to plan out a topic during the week. Record all of the raw footage in one night, then edit over the next two days, upload and have it released on a scheduled Tuesday or Friday every week.
 
i record a lot of footage and then do a batch render. usally do all my editing at once whiel im watching a podcast or something :)

While not the best quality, recently i also got into streaming and i just stream a lot of my lower end games and then let twithc upload the footage later.
 
well depends on the video for the gaming channel at the pc with the canon vixia for face cam over the pc and i use that for audio but i record all night for my sketches
