Lets say I'm making a video using my video footage, and recording a voiceover on top of it. I'm going to add in still pics every once in a while and I also want to add in video clips of something, let's say a generic 3 second video clip of people jumping out of airplane.
I don't have the resources to go video people jumping out of an airplane, but I know there are a ton of videos already on YT of people skydiving and I'd like to use one of those.
How can I record that, and would I need to get permission or need to link the video in my description if I'm planning on monetizing my video.
Part 2 of this question is, let's say I want to add a video of 5 seconds of a car chase in my video and want to use a car chase from a movie like... The Fast and the Furious or something. I know some of the larger channels always make YT videos, with blockbuster movie clips in their videos, but don't they get flagged, muted, or deleted for copyright infringement or something?
I'm using HitFilm 4 Express for editing by the way, and I'd rather use free software if I can since I don't plan on doing this much.
