How Do You "Proof" Your Videos?

Hey, everyone! So, as the title suggests, I wanted to see what you all do to "proof" your videos before you upload them.

If you don't know what I mean by proof, I'm basically just asking if there's a critical way you look at your videos to have a form of greater quality control over them, before you put them on YouTube.

Personally (even though I haven't uploaded a video yet) I show my song covers to close friends and my family to see what they think of them.

That's one of the main reasons I haven't uploaded yet because I'm still learning how to mix music properly and I find it really great to get those extra opinions on how it sounds and what needs to be improved before I show the "world".

So what do you do? :)

nothing special. I just watch the video in it's entirety and make sure there are no typos and check if there are things I've missed prior to uploading.

For me I don't stress a lots about it because there's no such thing as a perfect video. Also this video is appealing to this person but to another person it might be not. My method of improving is just upload it and see viewers reactions, then for the next video I will improve on those aspects

I look through the video 3 times to make sure there are no mistakes and then I publish. I also look back at videos after I have published them to see how I can improve, I cringe when I look at some of my earlier videos but I'm glad that I posted them because it started me on my learning curve.

I was wondering why you need to be super careful like that then I just checked out your channel and I kinda understand why.

You channel is about promoting a product, and it's a luxury one. So it's very different from a vlogger's video like me which does not need to be too much details. Nevertheless, proof watching at least once for ordinary youtuber might be a good idea!

I check the yacht presentation videos more than 3 times, actually I even meet with the production company to tweak the final video several times before I publish it. Even then mistakes are made.
My vlog videos are the ones that I watch 3 times before I publish. I'm happy that the quality of my vlogs is improving, but it is still nowhere near where I want to be.
I think if you are vlogging about your daily life then mistakes are more forgivable, but if you have a car vlog, fashion/make-up vlog, or even a video game vlog then it is wise to go through the video at least three times to check for errors before you publish the video.
