What would it take for you to determine that YouTube is not your thing?
I've heard plenty of people say that its not their thing.
I mean as far as I know, if you have a personality of any kind you can make a video of something that you're passionate about...right?
I mean if you're not that serious about it then you don't have to have a schedule and promote and all that hard stuff, but everyone can make videos, in my opinion anyway.
What's your guys's opinion?
 
I should elaborate a bit more on that. Just because you aren't enjoying it, doesn't mean you have to quit completely. Take a break, for as long as you need to, and then come back. I've taken loads of breaks, as seen by my channel, haha. I'm actually coming back with some new knowledge about things I didn't know before, and have some support of some amazing people @PressRecord

I mean, I even went as far as deleting all my 100+ videos I had on there, because I felt like I wasn't ever coming back.

As the people above said, when you are not really enjoying it and when it becomes a chore rather than something you enjoy. That doesn't mean that you should stop just because you don't feel like doing a video on a particular day or don't get many views on your most recent video so you feel down, only stop if you genuinely don't care about Youtube anymore and couldn't care less about what happens to your videos.

Edit: Just looking at @SiegeTV's post I just remembered another point. I'm pretty sure that he knows this now but just didn't mention it, but never delete your videos on Youtube (unless they are backed up elsewhere), just put them as private. You may want to look back at these videos in the future for enjoyment or may even some day want to get back into youtube and may want them back on your channel again :).
 
Once you think, "jeez its filming day, i dont wanna film." Same thing is what everyone else had already said, when you dont even enjoy it anymore.

People force their content out and when they do that, its not very good. Then they'll complain because they're not growing.

When it stops being fun.

On the other hand, also when it becomes TOO much fun. When you start turning down chances to go out and hang out with friends just so you can stay home all day to make more videos. That's when you kinda need to step down and enjoy the real world for a while.
 
When you start getting bored. You should always start as a hobby and don't expect anything else from it. If you are in it for the money and fame, you are there for the wrong reasons
