How Do You Guys Promote Your Videos?

1) My personal facebook, 2) my Twitter, 3) if my video is about anyone/anything, I tag them in the facebook post or tweet. The additional traffic when they share my post is awesome. The main way I'm growing my audience though is by making friends. Post on forums, but don't do it with the intent to promote individual videos--just post and be helpful. If people like *you* they'll want to watch your vids. Watch lots of youtube videos, and leave thoughtful comments that prove you actually watched the video (because you did). Don't be discouraged if not all of them want to be youtube friends. But if you start with the intent to make friends, you'll have a stronger audience.
 
Hey im new here too, im trying to promote my channel which i am doing through twitter and some forums i am on but my traffic to the channel is slower than i had thought. I would love input on what i could vamp on my channel if anyone could aid me with this. Thanks in advance :)
 
Talk to people and get to know your audience, especially early on. They will be the force that catapults your channel forward.

You capacity for influencing your audience is greatly bolstered if they feel special around you. I have 150 subscribers but I have fans already. People who actively support my channel and say nice things about me to others.

Two things that will help you if you work on these: Charisma and Kindness.

Okay cool ill work on being more personable since i have felt like it has been lacking in my videos. If you think of anything else please let me know, im always down for advice.
