either on the go or stationary? angles and cut scenes? light is a key factor right along with sound and something to talk about....what do you guys usually talk about?
every vlog is different. But I tried something new in my most recent one. In my music videos I'm always zooming the camera around and doing close ups and changing the contrast/color and making myself look trippy. But when I vlog I always just leave it as is and talk. In my latest talking vlog, I tried making it more like a music video, zooming in for certain words and changing the colors and saturation and I even put echo on my voice for emphasis in one section. I personally think it really heightened the... impact of what I was saying and am pretty sure it's how I'm gonna do my talking vlogs from now on.
Mostly stationary, with a tripod. I only use clips and stuff of other scenes if I feel the rant or whatever calls for it. I go without background music to avoid Youtube's wrath.
