How do you guys do your vlogs?

ThomasWoot

Goal is to get more interaction on my videos :U
either on the go or stationary? angles and cut scenes? light is a key factor right along with sound and something to talk about....what do you guys usually talk about?

Okay i am not a vlogger, but i can tell you what i like about some vloggers XP
1st- I love when the videos have cuts, like they are not the same video, it is changing from little video to little video XP
Example: Swoozie
2nd- I like when they add funny stuff in between the vlog
3rd- Add background music
4th- Have the camera close to your face, i dont really like to see vlogs where the people have their chest showing XP
5th- Be interesting, most of all, talk about interesting stuff and aproach that stuff in an entertaining way XP

This is all the tips i can give to you XD I am not a pro at this so yeah...

lol LOVE SWOOZIE and yes i also enjoy thos type of vlogs

I do mine static. I tried filming a walking around vlog once, but my arms are so friggin' short, my camera is just too close, and all you see is just this big head and not much else. So I generally just keep it on a tripod and vlog at home. I use natural lighting from my windows, although in my new house I'm hoping to set up a little studio where I can vlog in regularly and get some professional light boxes and such. Currently I don't do multiple angles except for my cooking vlogs (on the rare occasion I do one of those because they take a long time to set up and film). Maybe if I ever get a 2nd camera I can set up 2 tripods and add multiple angles into my vlogs as well, but for now it will continue to just be the one angle.

Depends on the type of video I do. When it's a spotlight video, I vlog with skits and cloning and multiple angles. When I do a rant, it's mostly static with cut away scenes. When I do a standard vlog it's just static with some images sometimes.

So far all of my vlogs are filmed within my apartment thoughn

I do walk around vlogs (have been doing them a lot lately). But I do vlogs where I sit and talk as well. For the vlogs where I just sit and talk, I have a topic to talk about. But for the vlogs where I go places and vlog, I just talk about whatever and just see what happens. I love it.

My vlogs are stationary with lots of editing :) Just started to get into using a blue screen as well for spiffy backgrounds!

In terms of what I talk about, I've only done the one proper 'vlog' type video, and have just finished editing my second- both times it has been events that have happened that I think would be worth sharing! With some artistic license here and there haha :D

I'm a daily vlogger documenting my life so my vlogs are on the go and I just talk about my day haha
