How do you get your ideas for videos?

I usually get my ideas while I'm trying to force myself to sleep at night. But I'm always mindful of situations in my everyday life that would make a good video. For example, recently I had a few job interviews, so I made a video about that. It's hard to force the ideas to come. The best ones come out of nowhere when you least expect it.

I find making a list of every single idea that comes to mind works. I usually have a small notebook that I can fit in my backpack or purse and always have it with me. Anything that comes to mind I write it down so I don't forget. This way, when/if I get to the point where I have no idea what to do next, I just have to look at my list. This is also a popular technique for authors.

To be completely honest here, I've stopped trying to come up with ideas! I've come to a realisation that my best moments have been completely unscripted and off the cuff. I usually just choose a broad topic think about it for a little bit then blabber on in front of the camera for however long and then piece it all together into something that works! My style doesn't work for everyone you have to find a way that works for you! You need to trust that the Ideas will come to you, and that they will be awesome when they do!
