How do you get ideas for videos?

Moved this to video ideas :)

Normally what I do is try to think of something that nobody would ever think of or do the opposite of what is the trending norm :D So really...be an aberration to youtube :)
 
If you playing League of Legends, try doing a video that everyone would search for. Like I like to search up beast gameplays with Darius soloing top. Or how to play Kha'Zix..do something that you would search for.
 
I make notes on my phone of anything that may be interesting and go back later and review it. If your stuck for ideas mix up your routine, go for walks, do something you normal wouldn't do to get those brain juices flowing.
 
I don't normally get 'ideas' I just play games I enjoy and commentate over them while I play. I do try and think of some cool ideas every now and then, but the majority of the time people have already used that idea. So for the most part it is pretty hard. But if you cant think of ideas, look at other peoples videos and not exactly copy them, but at your own twist to them, that can help if you're not creative like me :P
 
Keep a little notepad with you always and write down anything that resembles an idea when it occurs to you and you can later go back and see if it was a worthwhile one.

I find it quicker to take out the notepad and write stuff quickly than taking out the phone and opening the note app and such, but if that's easier for ya. :P

Kids these days and their newfangled technology... grumble grumble.

aaha quicker than fingerprint recognition and the notes app? quicker than loosing your pen or the paper gets wet? :P and hehe yeah technology! its what im used too :D

I feel the same way when food shopping; still take handwritten lists with me! Tried a phone one time and felt it slowed me down - checking phone - deleting items (some I'd not even picked up yet) as I went! Pure techno-hell! :P
