How do you feel about Live Events?

I think live events are a great way to nurture your relationship with those who support the channel. That being said, I've seen folks with millions of subscribers only have a few thousand participants show up. So either be prepared for a nice small get together (which is fine!) or maybe wait until there are more subscribers that would potentially show.

The nature of how streaming works will never allow you to see a complete frame-for-frame live representation of what you're doing. Encoding and decoding, buffering, everything that happens in between you and a media player causes natural delay.

That said, live streaming is great when you have an audience for it. I want to do one soon but I'm not sure what kind of live show I should do considering the fact that my channel is a mishmosh of vlogs, music, and the very rare sketch-type thing. I thought about doing a talk-show type thing but I also want to host the first internet-exclusive late night talk show (not necessarily live though). I need extra help and a better place to do it so I'm in a bind.

I feel like it's a cool thing to do to connect with your viewers. For example, iiSuperwomanii does one on the 14th of every month. I find them fun :)
