How do you define success?

Success for me, is having someone tell me my videos entertained them.

Or made them smile. Or laugh. Or show them that the world ain't all bad.
 
I feel like getting 1000 subs would make me feel amazing assuming I had good views too. I also really want to produce content that is positive and makes you laugh or smile and shares family love. My most basic goal is having memories for my kids to look back on I think family vlogging is the best for that
 
Well being happy with your channel is what truly defines success.

If you just want to put out videos that you like, and you don't care about subs / views, then thats enough for your channel to be successful.
Don't let other people affect you with their distorted views of what constitutes a successful channel.
