How do you deal with sub 4 subbers?

Hi all! I'm curious to know ways in which people deal with sub 4 subs on their channel. I'm imagining most of you just delete them, but I often feel like I should reach out to them and explain why they shouldn't do this. I did the sub4sub thing my first week until I realized the error of my ways!

If someone on my channel says something like "Great Vid m8! I subbed! Could you sub to me as well?" I reply by saying something like "I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)" I don't answer the question because most people will say how they liked the video before saying to sub to them and if not, the comment is normally in my spam section and can't be seen by the public so I ignore it until a few days later when I delete it.
 
I usually just say "sorry I dont do sub4sub but thanks for liking" and if they remove the like then they are not a true supporter and they are only there to get you to like them.
 
They are using advertising managers, there are loads of them out there...

I ACTUALLY know which one they are using, where they are launching a "sub4sub" campaign, which is very weird..I personally dont sub4sub but i do share my videos, sub 4 sub gets you know where - id rather share my videos!

I tryed sub4sub for abit but i really dont want empty subs, i look forward to replying to others comments. my biggest pet peive is when you post a gaming video and i post in my video "if you have a gaming channel id check it out, and sub if i like it", then they post a beauty channel and expect me to sub back. because of that i stay away from sub4sub. usually ill just reply back thanks for watching the video!
on the other hand if your a person in a forum who took the time to watch one of my videos and leave a comment, ill engage in conversation and who know maybe promote your channel down the line. i recommend to stay away from sub for sub, it doesnt do your channel any good.

Sub 4 sub doesn't get you anywhere. YouTube automatically deletes many of the subs that come from sites that do s4s anyway so it's not even worth it.
