How do you deal with a persistent hater??

Do you know the person in real life or outside of YT? It sounds like you were on friendly terms with them before all this started? I'd probably make one last attempt at making peace with them either through a PM or even better a phone-call - just basically to say the situation is ridiculous and that you'd like a ceasefire and that even if you can't be friends, you don't want to be enemies.

If that doesn't work, then yes, stop replying to all comments and provocation. Block them, flag them for spam etc but cut off all contact and they will eventually get bored and move on.

Yeah it is. She's scum. f**k I shouldn't have said what nationality I am at the start of our friendship. but hell how on craps earth was I to know this would all happen. >.>

Pifft thankfully on YouYube just. Yes, we were VERY friendly before all this happen. We'd talk every evening about all sorts of things! Then after a while she started to upload weird videos. She used to upload cute animal videos. She used to have pugs and kittens. So she took videos of those. But now it's all freaky bath videos.

That won't work, it's too late for that. To be honest I wouldn't want to talk to her on the phone. She's said enough nasty things about me it's just over done the point of turning back.

Yeah, I'm not worried, but at the same time she's 35 or something and is spreading lies about me. Though I do know i've got good youTube friends and my channel is growing. So yeah I should really starve the bat of attention.

Yeah I'm going to try my best and do that. I've given her many low blows before and nothing worked. But yeah If I ignore her hopefully she'll stop. I love YouTube way too much to leave.
 
yea i just wouldnt reply to anything she says.
Cus she just comments and says stuff because she wants a response from you no matter what it is.
Just dont say anything and eventually she will get bored.

I have a hater too, not that they say anything, but just EVERY video i put up they'll go on and dislike every video for no reason, it doesnt bother me because i know its not a genuine dislike because i dont get any comment on something they dont like.
So just ignore haters, they have nothing better to do :)

Yeah I'm going to start ignoring them.
Maybe a week of two she'll be bored! She said to me once she has a short attention span. XD

And that's another reason I disable my ratings. I think it annoys them.

True, they've too much time of their hands. She claims she has a job. But she doesn't all she does is just sit on Youtube and upload trash and spread lies about others. :|
 
React to a hater once and you give them all the energy they need to attack forever even after you start ignoring them.

Yeah true. I managed to get their previous accounts banned. :)
But yeah I'm not going to bother with them anymore.
