How do you come up with Video Ideas?

I suppose this is more relevent to those of you who are vloggers, but how do you actually come up with video ideas?​

I'm not gonna lie, I struggle sometimes to come up with ideas for YouTube videos. I know that half the time it's because I don't feel like actually talking about said topic because I don't see in my mind how it can be appealing.​
Do you just brainstorm ideas or just wing it? Feel free to suggest your own methods.​
 
I come up with ideas for videos in bed or like the shower. Sometimes I may be watching or playing something and an idea comes to me. I've got a lot of ideas I want to work on, but I haven't had a chance to yet.

And I stay that way until something pops up in my head.
 
Google for ideas on what to talk about

Keep a notebook always. That tiny idea that seems crappy, will seem better later once you've had time to add to it.
 
When an idea comes to me, I write it down on my phone. Then when i'm out of ideas, I take a look at what I wrote down and do one of those videos.
 
Ideas pops sometimes in my head. I wrote them down somewhere. Then loose the paper. Then come up with something completely different than what I wanted to do.
 
Usually they just come to me when I'm reading something or doing something in relation to the topic that comes to mind. Or they're completely random.

And when I'm desperate I just throw a bouncy ball to the wall over and over until I come up with something.
I'm kidding. :P

I try to think of something that nobody has done yet or has the ability to do yet (which is almost impossible these days). I try to also think of opportune times to have my camera ready, especially for time lapse videos. I just try to think of things I would like to watch if somebody else did it.
 
I might not have a vlog, but I have video ideas too! The way I come up with them is to write down everything funny. We've got about a thousand pages of funny content. Now all we have to do is pick ;)
