How do you come up with ideas?

The most of the times they pop up in my mind out of nowhere, or they are related to current happenings.
 
Ideas can come anywhere (especially in the shower) but its important that you have a phone or a notebook so you can write them down and don't forget them... [emoji6]
 
Real life has a lot to draw from man and then some of those ideas can come from right out of the blue, or by stuff I've seen... The internet is a big place too there's so much going on here at any point in time it's... Also people I meet look at things in different ways to what I do so that helps too.., I tend to do the more traditional singing in the shower lol [emoji4]
 
I don't really have to come up with any ideas per say because I am a gaming channel. I do have to think of what games to play however. A lot of things I say in my videos are improv. I don't really think about what I'm going to say, I just say it.
 
I keep a list of ideas going on my smartphone, this way when a topic or video idea hits, I write it down. There isn’t any “Special place” this happens, unlike some of the other responses.

Also I find breaking out the camera around entertaining friends is a fun way to capture some interesting Vlog-Type videos.

Keep doing what you’re doing, the more videos you make, the more ideas you’ll come up with, it’s like a weird creative cycle.
 
Most of my video ideas come from subscribers or viewers asking questions....it does take a while to build up an audience.
 
I feel the best way to come up with ideas in any way is instead of thinking about coming up with ideas in your head, physically write down what you are thinking or saying your thoughts out loud. It gives the brain something to focus on instead of having your thoughts jumping around your brain.
This is for whatever technique you come up with so if you try coming up with ideas in the shower say your thoughts out loud as you speak. Or if you are getting them from real life right down what happened and why it happened and all about it and such.
 
Yup I usually come up with ideas in the shower. Or after just minutes before I'm about to go to bed, therefore making me stay up extra late so I can type it out so I don't forget it the next morning.
 
two ways I think:
1. Ask yourself what do you enjoy watching and what could be improved in what you are watching
2. Ask yourself what do you enjoy doing on the pc, gaming, writing reviews etc and do it yourself through youtube :)
