Do you collaborate with other youtubers? If yes, how do you arrange it?

That depends what kind of videos you guys are planning to make and who's involve.
If its people you can meet up irl then set up a meeting to discuss how your going to make the video, if its far distance (most likely) then do a Skype meeting.

What I used to do was use Google Drive, make a new document and share it with whoever I was collaborating with, we would then write ideas down for the script and chat at the same time helping each other and making tweaks until it was good, I used to do this with collaboratory idea lists.

So its not a real collaboration? You didnt make a video with the other person?

The collaborations didnt take place on Google Drive, Google Drive was used for planning, we never met in person.
