Ya, I didnt know what game system you were talking about. I have a ps4 and will see what I can do, if it does not output the users audio as well, then the pc mic will have to work.I'm on the PS4 mate.

Ok. If I can't get it to work I'll probably just use Skype.Ya, I didnt know what game system you were talking about. I have a ps4 and will see what I can do, if it does not output the users audio as well, then the pc mic will have to work.
Been trying. Still no luck. I'll definitely let you know if I come across a way.I ran into the same problem, lioblade. I can get audio/video to work, but for whatever reason it doesn't capture the in-game/party chat (PS4)
If you figure it out definitely share please![]()
Yeah. That's the way I've been told originally. But I really don't want to buy a mic yet. Something I'll consider in the future but not just yet.Okay this is what I was able to find... thanks to trollmunchies video that he posted on December 4, 2013
The thing is that the Elgato captures what outputs through the TV speakers. So if I disconnect the headset (wired) from the controller then the chat audio would come through the TV, thus, I can then capture the in-game chat. BUT, you can't hear me. So then I would need a USB mic (without a speaker) to capture my voice, as well from what I understand.
Does this make sense?
Record your vocal audio on the computer with Audacity and the gameplay with your capture card and then sync the two together.
