How do I know what keywords are popular?

I made a random video ranting about braces which is my most popular video. I had no idea that people cared so much about braces. The majority of those views are from search. I also made a video called "I Hate My Phone" that is one of my most popular ones as well. There is no pattern that I can see, how do I know what people are searching for? Or maybe that's just part of the fun, not knowing what videos will get popular or not. And this is for a vlog/comedy channel by the way.

type google trends on google bar. Keywords gives you small boost but if you have a small channel they have to be unique. You can add what type of phone you hate and what type of video it is..(review, vlog )

You can also check your Analytics to see which search terms are bringing you the most traffic. They might have something to do with those topics
