I spent a few hours making a new art and avatar. I think it's pretty decent I think I'm good for the Photoshop stuff now[DOUBLEPOST=1398049603,1398049578][/DOUBLEPOST]Interface wise, you'll probably notice a different file browser like Windows Exlplorer or Adobe Bridge (which you can for free), then the file | edit | ect bar is part of the program on windows, but on the bar on top on mac. Some other slight slight differences. Can you explain what about the interfaces you were having trouble with?
Thanks, I might look into it!A good starting program is Paint.NET. I highly recommend it over gimp. To me (maybe it is because my computer is slow) gimp is confusing and the quality isn't there. Paint.NET is very easy to use and can definitely get the job done. There are addons available on their website to get some of the same features as Photoshop. Of course, Photoshop is better but for a beginner, I would start with PNET.
If you are own linux there is an alternative program ... forgot the name though. Think the linux version works on Mac aswell.
