How Do I Get The Attention of Viewers?

*I'm new to this so I don't know if this topic is to give advice or to ask questions* How can I grab the attention of viewers and make them watch for longer times? Just give me some simple ideas thanks [emoji56]
 
Catchy titles, good Thumbnails, and great keywords to draw people to your channel, and depending on what video you want to do, do a well edited video, and not a video that is too long
 
The beginning of the videos usually have to be attention grabbing. Titles and thumbnails are very important because that is what people have to click on to get to that video. Make sure that you are doing this because you love to do it, because by tone of voice some people are able to tell. Try and follow these and I'm sure you'll get some results.
 
I also think it's important to only present the most interesting content in videos in order to keep the attention of viewers. If 5 seconds of your video is silent while you reach offscreen for a prop, they're probably 5 seconds that can afford to be cut from the video. When a video is 10 minutes long and it could've been cut down to 7 minutes or less, I'm not likely to watch again.
