Hello there, i was just wondering how do i get permission to upload gameplay videos without getting a strike from YouTube. Like how do i get a permission from that company that made the game so YouTube doesn't delete my account or something like that? Same goes for Anime videos, posting clips from a certain Anime, how do i ask for a permission to upload their content from a copmany that made that Anime?

I don't know if i was clear enough, thanks in advance! :)

WTF?
Uploading gaming videos are fine as long as you're doing commentaries on it, but if you're going to upload a trailer of it then you need to be in a network to contact the devs.

On the Anime's part, it's alot more difficult since it's on Japan so I advise not to post Anime related stuff unless it's song covers.

You don't need to be in a network to contact the devs.

Apparently, being in a network would be alot easier, notice how PewDiePie rarely get's flagged even if he uses alot of copyrighted music and scenes.
Not really how it works, first off i'll bet pewdiepie is a Managed partner, which as far as I know, contentid does not scan managed partners content just yet (could have changed recently)
ALso, he makes a few million a year off of youtube, you can be he or his team have cleared all the copyrighted content with the owners before using it.
You don't need to be in a network to contact a dev or other, and they don't protect normal users from copyright strikes.

I know that, never said you can't contact the devs if you're not partnered in a network, only said that if you're going to post copyrighted music, networks can sometimes help you.

PewDiePie wouldn't risk uploading copyrighted content, and if he did you can be damn sure he has contacted the owner before hand, also I see allot of what he uses would fall under fair use, the majority of game companies allow game-play videos on YouTube, like @Styxie said you don't need a network to contact a developer, you can do that yourself using an e-mail, also being in a network isn't going to magically let you upload game-play footage, this is a common myth that networks have licenses for games for their partners.

He does play youtube music on his videos though lmao.
I am so curious how he gets away like so many times.
