First of all, I know I know, Window's Movie Maker isn't the most suggested video editor haha, but I'm sure there are others here that use it, and well, I shot a video using my iphone, and then uploaded the video to my laptop, now, I imported all the scenes to Window's Movie Maker, and, even played it back, and everything was fine, then when I went to save the "movie", it went through all the saving process, then at the very end after it said 100%.
Then, it showed a message saying, "Sorry, your movie can't be saved. Find any missing files or remove the unusable items from your project, and then try again".
But problem with that is, well, it's not like I deleted any of the files. They are all still on my drive. I even tried to delete some scenes from the time line, and then imported them back in just to give it a try. And sure enough the same thing, I also, tried to export the video with some scenes actually DELETED from the video (without replacing them), again, just to see what would happen. And STILL, I got that message.
So, I don't understand, I'm really bummed out, for two reasons, because it's been 6-7 days since I last uploaded a video, and second, well, yeah, I'm sitting here thinking, what on earth is going on??
I even checked what kind of video files Movie Maker accepts, and, well yeah, it does accept .mov which is the format the iphone records in.
So, does anybody know the solution to this?? It's like the whole video (in Movie Maker) is corrupted, except, I really can see why it would be. I didn't change the location of any of the files, do anything crazy. All I did was import them, and edit my video. And, if they we're really "unsupported" files I would imagine it would tell me right from the point of trying to import them. But it actually lets me watch the entire video when played back. It's the "saving"/exporting that's giving me problems.
