Gonna dispute this. Those may be true of Doubleclick as I don't have any experience with it, but my Adwords campaigns run at a $0.01 CPC/CPV on both Trueview and Overlay.
How do channel owners get paid for Overlay in-video ads and for Display ads?

Maybe for Adwords but for a Campaign via a YouTube agent or via a Network it will be as mentioned and I'd say they make up a large portion than Adwords.
On another note though $0.01 CPV is really good for Adwords, can never get mine below $0.07-0.15

It took me a lot of work on the keyword research and narrowing down things. Also, with so many gaming channels, the potential inventory is very high which helps. I wish I could get a CPM rate for Trueview. I'd gladly do a $6-$8 CPM because my channel trailer is quite good for getting people to watch and I think I'd hit more than the 1K views per $10 I'm getting.

Is there any way we can read this in Google help articles? I have searched thoroughly but cannot find where it says how channel owners get paid for showing ads (Overlay in-video ads and for Display ads). Any help is greatly appreciated.
