How detailed should a script be?

If you want it to sound more personal and have the audience see you as a person I would say to do either partially scripted or not scripted at all. Just have bullet point notes and explain your own honest opinion. Dont be afraid of anything you may say otherwise you will just stop and start with umms and ahhs and eventually lose your drive and energy.
If you want it to sound more professional and almost buisness like I would suggest having it fully scripted.
A script greatly changes the way people speak. We automaticly apply a different tone and personality when we read off of a page. Where as if you dont have a script then you will find you will act more like yourself and will come across more natural.

I know what you mean, I guess the hard part is just deciding which is best. Thanks for the advice!
 
I literally never bother with scripts unless it's a tag video etc. I usually just put down a few ques which are all in note form and abbreviated
At the end of the day you should do what's easiest and works best for you. As seen as you're saying it sounds boring when you're doing full scripts, maybe try winging a few videos without a script and trying some other stuff until you find what's the best thing?

I've realized that I need a script for some types of videos like reviews, but since I'll be doing different things, I'll try winging it with the other videos :) Thanks for the advice and good luck to you too!
