How Can I Reach That 100 Subscriber Mark? :/

You seem to be not really active on Youtube. 7 vids in 3 years is not something I would subscribe for. Would you?

If you want to keep that frequency of publishing videos, you'd better concentrate on making very good videos and go for the view count instead of the sub count.

^ Harsh but true. Consistency and quality play a big role in popularity. Don't be shy either, talk to people about it; get it out there

There is a lot that goes into it. When you start off, nobody knows who you are. It can be discouraging at first. I have found that by communicating with people is one of the best ways starting off. Once you have a set number of subs then your channel starts to grow on it's own.

That's true! But only recently have I only got back into YouTube and I was just wanting to get an early insight into how to gain subscribers so that I can create the videos that people would like and be able to share it well right from the get go. You do make perfect sense, I just wanted to get an insight that's all :) But I will be concentrating on my videos now :)[DOUBLEPOST=1425719692,1425719546][/DOUBLEPOST]Thank you guys for the support and constructive criticism :) It does help and I will take this all into account and bring my channel up to it's feet! We can do it! Woo! ;)

Okay, good luck with that :) I'm going to give you the advice which is key for Youtubers who wants to grow, but a lot of Youtbers doesn't apply this to themselves, thus not growing:

Ask yourself, and answer objectively for the next videos: Why would people watch your videos? What kind of people you are aiming for?
Subquestion: Why would people subscribe to you?

Try to think, would you watch it if the video's wasn't you but some other unknown person? If you have an answer to these questions, you're good to go.

That's so very true! Thank you for telling me this because I think it will really help me! I have some videos upcoming, but I will now think if it's suitable for my audience :) Can I ask another question? It is ok that my channel has a variety of videos right? It's fine if my channel is mixed with: Short films, Vlogs, Gaming, and others right? Because I don't want to just stick with one niche if that makes sense haha :) Thank you again! :)

All in the networking alongside the consistency point that has been made. Get people to share your videos. If they are good, people may do it automatically, but making sure more people see your videos, the more chance you will get a subscriber. But you need to make your channel attractive first before you even make that step.

Good question, but a hard answer. What would you think as being a sub? I actually don't know if it works, and I would say short films and vlogs can be mixed. Gaming is quite another target group, unless your vlogs and films are gaming-based.

If you want to mix, you can let's say on mondays do films, wednesdays do vlogs and friday do games, but I personally would leave games out of the mix.

I agree with Squeal Cat, you can either do all of them consistently, or focus on one subject. The former will allow you to have more subs but less views, where the latter will gain you less subs but more views.
