How can I make a good title?

I do all my own graphics!
I have a gaming-vlog style channel but it's based off of gaming so it's pretty difficult to get the attention I'm seeking. I just got thumbs yesterday so I plan on working on the first-hand (visual) aspect of my videos but I really think a good title makes a difference as well.

Some things I consider are: what the game is, what the video is about, things I talk about within the video, things that I refer to within the video, and interesting reference to the video. I'm not looking to attract views by adding weird words (hentai, pron, etc.) unless I reference it in my video. Similarily, I do not want to put completely irrelevant words in the title.

Does anyone have any advice or similar issues? ;)
 
basically what you were saying use words thats you reference in the video, not just something totally random that has nothing to do with the video or its like misleading people and there just gna be like wtf thats nothing like what i was looking for.
For my vids, i try to take main things that happen and make a title,but make it interesting as well. like my latest one i called it
Puppies vs Goats and Dancing Camels....cus its basically exactly what is in my video, but its still like wait wtf i need to watch that

It doesn't matter what the title says, if you show lots of boobs and butt on the thumb, you will get tons of views... haha.

I would say title of the game, what the talk is about, and then in (...) state if there is anything else that is mentionable like your score, game mode, or if kids were raging... or the name of a big youtuber that you mention briefly... haha. Don't do the last part.
 
Well the boob thing really does work ;). But what I do is I look for what people are searching. Like in google trends and try to find something in my video associate with w/e is trending. I mean you can't put Hugo Chavez in your title ( yesterday most search thing). For example I had my harlem shake video as the the harlem shake batman edition. But when I looked up harlem shake on google trends it showed that the "best harlem shake" was used more then "the harlem shake". So I change the title and its helped.

I see! Thanks Sakura. I was thinking there are more ways to create titles but it seems I'm already doing that so that reassured me :)

Oh Munnky, you're so kind to tell me about that. It didn't even cross my mind to search for other similar videos or trends... Great idea!

Hmm, I'm afraid people will not watch my videos if they know my score--Black Ops 2--beforehand, haha. I try to make the titles as relevant as I can, while thinking of mentionable words or phrases. As for my other Minecraft videos I will try to add some game mode phrases (survival, e.g.) in the title. Thank you ;)

Of course my dear, haha! I've been reading on that too and I did see a small increase in views after I started changing my tags :)
 
I use:

★ Let's Talk: Permanent Channel Outro

^
Star is to easily find a video by me
^
First tag is to identify the type of video - Vlog, Minecraft, Etc
^
Main tag is the summed up title of what the episode is

That's just what I use personally.
