How Can I Improve My Videos? (need help...)

Hey Guys i was just wondering i needed some expert advice on my channel overall if the strategy or technique is right for not only uploading but the way i edit my videos or juts my channel design. im not sure what to do as i have only started about a week ago but i dont get many views.

Make sure you have the proper equipment for your videos. Have good camera and microphone. Also having a tripod helps depending on what type of videos you make. Be sure to advertise your videos on your social media accounts. No one will watch your videos if they don't know it exists. Get your friends to help you share your videos. Be patient. It takes time to grow your videos and channel.

Hey there,

Good luck with your channel as starting up really is the hardest bit when it comes to YouTube. I'll take a nosey at your channel once I get home and see if I can suggest anything.

But without looking, I'd say make sure the actual video quality of your footage is high - People aren't going to watch low quality video when they can go elsewhere to get better quality.
Are you active with your comments/viewers? This always play a big part in growing your channel - Be nice to everyone whether they be trolling or not.
Would you watch your videos yourself? Do they make you smile? If the answer is no then how do you expect other people to enjoy them and click that like button?

Well, there's nothing that I can add here due to it already being said.
What I used to grow ( the minimal it was anyway) was humour a WHOLE LOT OF IT...or so I'm told.
(Please check out my channel, see how it is.)
Anyway, there's also sharing it to social media and getting your name out there. What I did was sharing it to friends, groups and pages that I managed, this was on Facebook.

Also, I asked friends ( or so called friends - you know your friends by those who would go out of their way to support you by watching your video. But I don't want to dwell on that) to check my videos.

The most important tip I can give you is actually two tips in one and is somewhat obvious: upload quality content, frequently. If your stuff is good and it comes frequently at around the same time, in addition to sharing your content, then you'll grow in no time.

OOHH BONUS TIP: People are less likely to click on your video if it's too long, try reducing it to about three to four minutes. This is important since you're still starting out.
 
this isnt a rant just to let you know, i was wondering if you guys could give me some advice as to why i ma not getting any views. I have tried to edit and perfect my videos but i dont know i think its the tags or the thumbnails, is there anything i can do to make my channel better? or do i have to be patient
 
Unfortunately you have 2 strikes against you.
1. Gaming channel
2. Let's play format
While these are the easiest to make they are also (by far) the most saturated, probably followed by blogs, which have the potential advantage of "personality focus".
You should find some new angle, something different and perfect that.
I do watch a few gaming channels but the ones I'm subscribed to, one can be considered "let's play". As a viewer I'm drawn to well produced channels and "let's play" type videos seem like "look over somebody's shoulder" type experience.
Let's play (for me) are useful to get an idea how a game will (duh) play, but I only look them up for games I'm planning to purchase or old retro games.
There was a "let's play" channel I subbed to. It was 2 guys that did voices of old women. They did a bit of research of what would be relevant to the women characters they were playing and they went with that. I don't watch regularly, just occasionally.

Agreed with above, its' hard to break through with a new gaming channel. I talk from experience so I branched out a little with some success.
