How can I get over being awkward in my videos?

To me my videos seem a bit awkward and dumb. I feel like I don't get any views because of that. Is there any way anyone can think of to help me fix the problem?
 
Be confident and calm, enjoy the game and talk like if you where talking to one of your friends! :) At the beginning I was feeling really weird. Nervous, anxious and awkwardness are normal when you first start to upload videos. Just try to be more confident and have fun! Trow some jokes along the way, soon enough everything will feel really natural :3
 
I also think the same way, but i just think it's ourselves being to critical on ourselves. If you get what i mean.

all of this is good advice :D I think the best way to improve is just practice, practice, practice though :P The more you do it the more comfortable you will feel :)
 
As someone who has spent a significant amount of time in front of a microphone, I would suggest the following.

RECORD EVERYTHING.

I'm quite serious. Set up Audacity or whatever you use and record every time you sit at the computer. Whether you use it later or not is irrelevant. The more comfortable with the mic in front of you that you get, the better your content will be.

Also, on an unrelated audio quality note. Look up how to edit your audio (my sig has a video that has helped quite a few forum members in the past). You need compression BAD. :) From there, I'd be searching for more information on how to match up your title, description and tags because that's the main reason you're not getting views. Your tags are terrible.

Good advice, I think i might apply this to myself.

and all this time I've just been doing noise removal thanks man hopefully my audio will be better from here on out!
 
what I do is try to 'warm up' before filming. this entails saying stupid things and jumping around so I feel more comfortable being crazy in front of the camera.
